Finding every scattered alien toy in Disney Dreamlight Valley can be a challenging endeavor for players aiming to assist Buzz Lightyear. The second installment of Buzz's scavenger hunt series, titled Collect 'Em All: Strangers From the Outside, moves the search indoors. Understanding how spawn timers work and knowing which villager homes to inspect will help you complete this quest efficiently.
Starting the Quest and Understanding Spawn Timers
This quest automatically becomes available approximately 48 hours after finishing the initial alien scavenger mission. Unlike outdoor collectibles, all fifteen alien toys in this phase spawn exclusively inside the homes of valley residents.
The spawns occur in two distinct time-gated waves rather than appearing all at once. The first eight alien toys become accessible immediately upon accepting the quest. You must wait roughly 36 hours for the remaining seven toys to generate across the designated houses.
Key Villager Houses to Search
To locate the toys quickly, you should systematic search through the homes of key valley characters. The primary locations include Mickey's House, Goofy's House, Merlin's Tower, Donald's Boat, Woody's Carousel, Remy's House, and Buzz's RV.
During the second wave, additional toys will appear inside Minnie's House and the Frozen Castle. It is helpful to speak with Buzz directly, as he periodically provides tips regarding which structures have reported sightings.
Tips for Finding Hidden or Glitched Aliens
Some alien toys can be surprisingly difficult to spot because they tend to blend into room decor or clip behind large furniture. Turning down the in-game music in your audio settings allows you to listen closely for the distinct sparkling sound effect emitted near their locations.
If a toy appears stuck inside a wall or behind an obstacle like the bunk bed ladder in Buzz's RV, try adjusting your camera angle or repeatedly pressing the interact button while walking against the object. Keeping all retrieved toys in your main inventory ensures that the quest tracker accurately registers your progress.
Completing the Task and Claiming Rewards
Once you have successfully collected all fifteen alien toys from around the village, return to Buzz Lightyear to deliver them. Handing over the toys completes the quest and earns you a Space Ranger Supply Kit containing valuable crafting items such as fabric, fiber, glass, and tinkering parts.
Completing this assignment also brings you one step closer to unlocking the subsequent quest in Buzz's storyline, Collect 'Em All: Attic Mode. With patience and careful observation, you can clear every room and restore order to the valley.
